Overall the domain industry has seen a slowdown over the summer, which can be attributed to external economic conditions. However, one segment of the industry, the four character (LLLL.com) market has stayed strong, and in some cases even seen growth. Unlike the three character market (LLL.com) the four character market provides a cheaper entry point for investors while still representing solid end user potential. The WebSite Brokerage team has seen significant sucesses in our own portfolios with returns over 50%. There are a few blogs, such as quadletterdomains.com, as well as 4letternoob.com that provide additonal insight into this market. If you are interested in investing in this segment feel free to contact us at INFO@ WebSiteBrokerage.com.
I just wanted to respond publicly to a question that we received the other day. We were asked for a complete listing of our domains and why we don’t post this information directly on the site. While this kind of information is available, and happily given, we do not and probably will not actively list it on our site. We do this for one simple reason; we are trying to differentiate ourselves from large domain listing companies (ex. Sedo / Afternic) that merely list your domains and wait for a bidder. We actively go out and solicit end users as well our network of resellers in order to find you a buyer. To us this defines a brokerage service. If we wanted to create an auction style reselling site we could have joined the crowd months ago.
As always, if you have any questions please feel free to contact us at Info@WebSiteBrokerage.com. We are always excited to talk to potential new clients and happy to answer any questions you may have.
Founded in late 2007, Website Brokerage has been a privately owned and operated brokerage house offering customized services to portfolio holders around the world. We focus on providing a boutique style service in an otherwise cluttered market of auctions and listings. We are an end-user driven brokerage service that focuses on companies and buyers as opposed to trying to move domains to resellers. We currently have over $10,000,000 in domain listings and are actively seeking buyers.
Recently Website Brokerage has partnered with Domain Development, Internet Marketing, and Brand Management firm Greenstripe Marketing
Website Brokerage takes its clients time and holdings extremely seriously. We are of the impression that a Portfolio, Domain, or Web Site holds an inherent value much in the same regard as Real Estate would in the physical market. As such, we believe that the same type of process should apply to selling these virtual locations. We actively pursue buyers on behalf of our clients, presenting them with all relevant available information on the asset for sale. Our service is unlike any other which we have encountered for two key reasons: first, we actively seek out end user buyers, and second, we do not require an exclusive brokerage contract until we find you a buyer. In essence, this removes the risk associated with selling a domain. If we do not find you a buyer, or you yourself find a buyer, you owe us nothing for our service.
Recently we have partnered with Domain Development, Brand Management, and Internet Marketing firm GreenstripeMarketing to offer additional services to our clients. If you have any questions, comments, or would just like to say hi, please drop us a line in the comments or at Info [@] WebsiteBrokerage.com!
